Brandon Hall Gold and Silver awards in ’24

For a long time I thought I'd got it wrong.

I studied IT and spent years fairly sure I'd wasted it. Then I noticed it was the thing my colleagues didn't have.

Now a good part of the job is passing it on: getting designers to see that what they draw has to be built, and how.

2025–nowAI product

Fiven · Principal Product Designer

I get called in for the things that don't exist yet: a design system, or a product that's still only an idea. I designed and built the AI testing platform end to end, and I teach the team to work with AI without dropping the standard.

2022–25EdTech · learning

Digit'Ed · Product Design Lead

Led design on OpenLearning, the flagship learning platform, from the web all the way to Smart TV. Two Brandon Hall golds and a silver in 2024, adoption up 13%, and a design system that took 32% off dev time. Accessible to EAA and WCAG 2.2.

2020–22Business travel · ecommerce

American Express GBT · UX/UI & Web Designer

A corporate travel platform: the ecommerce side, and the self-booking tool companies run their business trips on. I did both halves, what the traveller books with and the admin panel behind it. Use of the tool went up about 16%.

2017–20Web & digital

Prima Group · Web Designer

Web design across brands and campaigns. This is where an IT background turned into an actual design job, with my hands still in the markup.

2014–17Software house

MDS Net · Junior Graphic Designer

First years in a studio: graphic and visual design, learning the craft against real deadlines.
